Since our launch in 2021, Ethiopian Youth Environmental Awareness (EYEA) has been committed to promoting environmental awareness and empowering communities to become responsible environmental stewards.
Our team is made up of passionate volunteers from diverse backgrounds who bring their unique skills and dedication to every initiative.
Together, we have created meaningful impact — measured not only through numbers and projects, but through the positive feedback and smiles of those whose lives we’ve touched.
At Ethiopia Youth Environmental Awareness (EYEA), we refuse to turn a blind eye to the urgent environmental challenges of our time. Founder / Director
Leads EYEA's overall vision, its international partnerships and project coordination.
Youth Engagement Coordinator
Develops youth programs, university partnerships, and community outreach activities.
Head of Environmental Education
Designs training materials and workshops on climate awareness and sustainable development.
Communication et médias
Manages EYEA's public awareness campaigns, storytelling, and online platforms.
Field Volunteers (Ethiopia)
Supporting reforestation initiatives, clean-up campaigns and environmental education projects in local communities.
Diaspora & International Partners (Diaspora Ambassadors)
Facilitate collaboration between the Ethiopian diaspora and international allies. This global network contributes knowledge, resources, and solidarity — helping bridge ideas and action across continents for a shared environmental future.
